Asian School of Business Management

The Community for Responsible Research in Business Management (cRRBM), which comprises a diverse group of 24 scholars, journal editors, and deans from 10 countries in three continents, and represents all of the major disciplines in business schools, believes that business research should be addressing the critical problems of business and society.  It is also convinced that the current model will be unsustainable as business schools compete for resources in the future.

Finance
Walmart Inc. might want to portray its $16 billion purchase of India's largest e-commerce firm, Flipkart Group, as a brilliant strategic move, long-planned in secret, that would allow the U.S. retail giant to manage the transition away from big-box stores globally. Yet, the truth is that the deal represents a second-best outcome -- if that -- for Walmart as well as for Indian consumers and farmers.

Retail
NEW DELHI: Traders' body CAIT today said Walmart's $16 billion acquisition of home-grown retailer Flipkart will affect India's retail sector "very badly" and demanded scanning and scrutinising the deal from "different angles" by the government.

Supply Chain

I am a supply chain gal: not a politician. Consquently, it has been rolling-around my brain for three months. Here I share my thoughts
